Biography:
Coach Kanz is starting her first season on The Farm as the Sports Performance Coach for Women’s Soccer, Women’s Water Polo, Sailing and Synchronized Swimming.
Prior to joining Stanford University, Bri served as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Rice University. Bri was directly responsible for designing and implementing the year-round strength and conditioning programs for Women’s Soccer, Volleyball and certain aspects of Track & Field events. Prior to Rice, Bri was the Assistant Director of Strength & Conditioning at University of Mary Washington. At UMW she assisted in overseeing 23 Varsity Sports. She was solely responsible for developing and implementing programs for Men and Women’s Basketball, Men and Women’s Tennis, Men and Women’s Golf, Swimming, Field Hockey, and Riding.
Bri received both her Masters and Bachelor Degrees at the University of Akron where she started her Strength & Conditioning career as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. While at Akron, she was directly responsible for developing and implementing programs for Softball and the four-time MAC Championship Swim team. She also assisted with the execution of strength and conditioning programs for Men & Women’s Basketball, Men & Women’s Soccer, and Volleyball.
Coach Bri holds the National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.
