Past Experience and Accomplishments
The 2018 season is the fifth for Cullen Carroll as a sports performance coach working with the Stanford football program. Carroll began his time on The Farm as an intern in 2014 before moving into his current role. In addition to being an assistant on the football sports performance staff, Carroll previously served as the sports performance coach for both the men’s swimming and diving team and the men’s gymnastics team, while also assisting with the wrestling program.
Before coming to Stanford, Carroll assisted with all aspects of the football program at Wake Forest in 2013. While at Wake Forest, Carroll was the head men’s rugby performance coach.
A native of Petaluma California, Carroll holds a master’s degree in knesiology from San Jose State, and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Willamette, where he was an All-Northwest Conference linebacker. He is certified SCCC through the CSCCa, CSCS through the NSCA, and is CPR/AED/First Aid certified through the American Heart Association.
